Max Erlandsson, aka SleepStreamer, is another talented modder to hail from Sweden - is it something in the water over there? Max is a good friend of renowned modder Wolverine, who got him started in the dark art of case hackery. Amazingly, this is Max's first mod which, given the result, is amazing. Cold Fusion by SleepStreamer

Hi! As a beginner modder, this is the work log for my first 'real' case mod project. The original idea was to create a mod that was inspired by a futuristic kind of 'nuclear reactor', and this gave rise to the name: Cold Fusion. As you might already have suspected, I'm a big fan of science fiction.


I wanted to do some really intricate designs, so laser cutting was going to be the best way to go. The panels will be made of laser cut, 2.5mm stainless steel plates. I'm using Rhinoceros 3D 3.0 as the design package.


This is the victim; it's an Antec SLK3000B chassis - doesn't it look plain and boring? Not for much longer!


This is my work area, it looks like a bombsite! I shall push forth regardless.
